We had a blast with Halloween this year. Took the kids to Boo Zoo. Kara had a cute Halloween party at Preschool, and I wore 3 different costumes!

Chelsea was the Queen of Hearts. My mom made her costume.

This was my costume I wore to go Trick or Treating with the kids...I went as a "bag of leaves!"

I thought it was cute and very creative!!

From Scarecrow to a Princess all in one day....

Today was such a busy day for Kara. She had her Halloween Dance Recital at the mall at 1pm. She was dancing to the song "If I Only Had A Brain". All the girls looked really cute and I had a blast dressing her up to look like one!

After the recital we had to come home and clean her up for her very first birthday party for a classmate. She was invited to a Princess Tea Party for a sweet little girl who turned 4. She had a blast at the party and didn't want to leave.

Thrifty Ice Cream Rocks!

After the pumpkin patch we took the kids to get a Thrifty Ice Cream at Rite Aid. This was their first time getting ice cream from there. Of course they wanted to use the money they earned to buy it and Kara insisted that she got to pay the lady!

College Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we took the kids to the Merced College Pumpkin Patch. The kids thought it was cool because they got to go out into the field and choose their pumpkins.

We will definately go back there again next year! Prices were GREAT!

Having Fun...

We had costume day at school since we tracked off for 2 weeks. I was very excited to dress up and decided to be a witch! I've never been a witch before and my mom made me a wonderful dress and did a GREAT job on my make up!!

My students loved my costume along with all the other 1st grade students. I went around and read the book, A Very Brave Witch (love that book) to all the other 1st grade classes and had a blast going into the other rooms.

Can't wait until next year!!

My nieces Chelsea and Scarlett had their Halloween Dance for school on Friday. Scarlett went as an Indian and Chelsea was a butterfly.

Corinna wanted to celebrate her 35th birthday party with a Redneck Theme. My mom and I planned the entire thing. We had a great time planning it and had a blast at the party!

I spent 2 hours one night stringing empty soda cans onto twine to make 20 feet of garland for the party. It came out too darn cute!

Finally....

Ok so Michael turned 2 in May and I just got his pictures taken....Donavan did a great job, despite a cranky 2 1/2 year old who didn't want to be an inch away from me!

The back of his birthday shirt that I made for him.....we had a construction themed party.
The front of the shirt said "Michael...The Boss"

I love these last two shots. I wasn't planning on being in the pictures but Donavn caught some wonderful moments between Michael and I.
