Here Kitty Kitty.....

We all had a great time this Halloween. Kara is a little older this year, and seemed to enjoy everything about it, especially Trick-or-Treating!! Kara was a little black kitty this year, just like mommy was in the 1st grade. Grandma Vivian made her hat and tail. The only way we could get her to wear it was to tell her it was cold outside! Kara went Trick-or-Treating with her cousins Chelsea, Scarlett, and Trevor. The last half of the trip around my parents neighborhood she finally got the concept and was running with her cousins shouting Trick Treat and Thank You!! We stopped at Nonnie's (Donavan's) house and saw our good friends Rachel and Charlotte,http://bountystwins.blogspot.com/, who were dressed like cute monkeys!MEOW!!
Hey Grandma....lights!!

Pumpkin Carving

Daddy carved Kara's pumpkin today while she and mommy watched. Kara wasn't a big fan of the slimy, gooey inside of the pumpkin!!
Let's get ready!!

Clowning Around...

After shopping yesterday Kara was in a very good mood as always! I bought her some new cable knit tights and tried them on. Well as you can see they come almost up to her armpits!! That's my petite girl!! Kara loves getting super close to the camera and yelling cheese, which makes it very difficult to get some shots of her! Hope you like!
Gotta love that great BIG smile!! It never fails to brighten my day!

Got Milk??

Kara is becoming such a big girl. She gets very upset when you try to help her with anything involving food. Kara has been wanting to drink independently from a cup the last couple of days so at breakfast I gave her the opportunity...with her own special glass. Kara did very well. We only had one accident with the cup. I couldn't help but snap a few pictures of her milk mustache!!

Phase 2........

Now that the base color is fully complete and dry, my mom had been busy creating Kara's secret garden mural...........She is currently working on the main scene of the mural. It consists of a painting of Kara, (not completed yet), walking on a path to a small cottage at the end. Here are a few more pictures.....

Make Over Story....Kara Style

My mom is gracious enough to share her wonderful talent and paint a mural in Kara's room. When finished the mural will be on all walls. We started this past Monday painting the backround color over the entire room. Using 2 shades of blue, a shade of yellow, and a shade of green we did almost a watercolor technique from floor to ceiling. With a touch of a coral shade it created a beautiful serene horizon look. We also painted the ceiling to look like a beautiful blue sky with fluffy white clouds. Here are a few pics.....

Playing Dress Up

Kara loves to put on daddy's t-shirts!! They drag behind her and she often trips on them, but she does have a blast.
