Easter at Grandma and Papa's...

We had lots of fun at grandma and papa's. Granny and Grandpa were there along with Tim, Corinna, Chelsea, Scarlett, Trevor, Uncle Billy, and Lacey. Kara can finally climb the ladder to the slide all by herself and isn't afraid to slide down. We had a nice yummy lunch and then the kids searched for eggs again. The older ones searched for real eggs and Kara hunted the much easier plastic eggs (filled with yummy goodies)! Enjoy the pics....

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! We started off our day at home with Kara hunting eggs in the house. Of course with each egg that she found she had to open it up before putting it in her basket. Daddy then took Kara outside to chase bubbles from her new bubble blower. We then headed over to Grandma and Papa's for lunch and more Easter egg fun with the cousins.

Baby Shower

Today was my baby shower for Michael! My mom really out did herself once again. The whole day was absolutly perfect..........yet exhausting at the same time.

I was spoiled very much.....lots of wonderful gifts from a bunch of wonderful family and friends.

Thank you to everyone who came to the shower and for the wonderful gifts. Michael is all set now!

My mom has out done herself once again. She barely finished Kara's room (I will post new pics soon) and had to get started right away on Michael's room. We turned Wayne's office into the new baby's room, Wayne didn't want to give it up, but both of us couldn't be happier with the turn out! Now we just need to have Michael!!The barn and some of the animals

Michael's Room

I can't say enough about this room. My mom has done an awesome job!! She made everything in it with the exception of the crib, dresser(she bought), and the rocking chair. Not to mention the beautiful mural that she painted. I am truely blessed to have such a talented mom!

Introducing....Madison Marie

Our good friends Donavan and Aarin welcomed their precious baby girl into the world this morning. Madison Marie was born at 4:55am, weighing in at 7lbs 5oz and 19 in long. We are all very excited about the newest addition to our "group".

More painting......

My mom is at it again!! This time she is painting Michael's room. I wanted to do a barn/farm animal scene and never imagined that it would turn out the way it is. I am truely blessed that I have such a talented mom who is willing to do this for me!

Fun at the park!

Our housing tract finally has a park installed! We took Kara over and brought along Roxy for some playground fun. Kara was not afraid to take on the playground by herself....after all she is a BIG 2 year old now!!
Kara had fun trying to get Roxy to chase her.....unfortunately Roxy was told to stay! Roxy did an awesome job with her job at hand.

Belly Buddies.......

Here are some pictures of Donavan and I. Donavan is expecting her first baby, a girl, anytime now. She is almost 39 weeks. I am 29 weeks pregnant with my little boy. Thank you to Sally and Aarin (Donavan's husband) for taking the pictures!

BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!

We got the crazy idea to start potty training Kara. Last night after dinner, we finally went and bought Kara her new potty chair! Her pediatrician suggested that we have her sit on it after breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Well today I did just that....only she wouldn't go after breakfast or lunch. Obviously, I am thinking..."is she even ready for this?" I know, I know..we just started, should give it some more time. Well after dinner I had her sit on it while I was warming her bath water. I kept asking her if she was going pee-pee, and of course she kept answering with ", No Mommy!" When her bath was ready she stood up and sure enough she had gone potty! I was very excited and gave my BIG girl high fives. We got so excited we had to call daddy in and show him what she did. I am still wondering if we are all ready for this new adventure. My goal would be for her to be completely potty trained when Michael is born. We shall see..........
