As soon as Kara woke up this morning I opted to take the pacifier away. I cut it right in front of her. She still tried to put it in her mouth and when seeing that it wouldn't work, would look at it, look at me, and try again. We will see how it goes at nap time and tonight. I'm hoping I won't be pulling my hair out through this ordeal. Grandpa says she still doesn't look funny with it, so I should allow her to keep it for now. He also said I was mean for cutting it in front of her, but hey you gotta do what you gotta do.
