Hair it is....

...so I decided to cut my hair again....I went to Sally's mom..Sandy. She did a fabulous job and I love my new do. It makes me feel sassy...and shhhh...a little sexy when it's all fixed up nice!! I also included some pics of Michael and Kara with some crazy hair...enjoy

so I'm not big on taking pics of myself....I feel kinda foolish doing it....

35 years and still going strong....

This past Sunday my sister and I threw my parents a wonderful 35th wedding anniversary party including a suprise vow renewal ceremony! We had a lot of wonderful help from family members with food, drinks, decorations, and my parents' flowers.

Donavan made this wonderful announcement that went out with the invitations.

9 months old and 7 teeth

So Michael is now 9 months old and doing great. He now weighs 19 lbs and is measuring at 29.5 in long...he is definately going to be tall like his daddy. He also has 7 teeth!! I say this boy is ready for some steak and potatoes.

Kara decided that she also had to wear a bib like Michael. She even put it on all by herself!

Snow...Finally!!

Well we finally made it to the snow this past Monday! Kara had a blast riding on the disc and throwing snow balls at mommy and daddy. Michael even took a turn on the disc with me. He laughed the whole time.

We ended up backwards!

Uhhhhh...what is this.......

So I got a special little gift last night too! My best friend Donavan attached a note to a pair of baby keys announcing to me that she is having a BABY!!

I was very shocked as you can see in the picture.

I am so happy for her and Aarin and I can't wait to me the newest little addition due to make an appearance at the end of September!!

Kara's Birthday Party

Kara had a great time at her "mini" party last night! Some family and friends came over to have some yummy bumble bee cupcakes and spoil her with wonderul presents!

I am also very excited because Kara can finally make the number 3 with her fingers...we have been practicing a lot.

a close up of the bumble bee cupcakes I made her. I bought a silacone baking dish that was shaped like flowers and then used whipped frosting to make the bees on top.
My mom gave me the great idea to use sliced almonds for the wings...I was so proud of the end result...felt just like Sandra Lee!!
