Baby shower...

The family went to Freddie and Carly's babyshower for the twins today. Kara had a blast playing in the kiddie pool!! She enjoyed splashing around and appeared to be giving Madison some pointers about the water...Needless to say Kara had so much fun that she didn't want to get out of the pool

Finally we were able to get her out of the pool so we could go home!

Happy 11th Birthday Chelsea!!

A big happy birthday to my niece Chelsea!! She is growing up way too fast. We went to Grandma's house for cake and ice cream and will have dinner on Sunday! She got spoiled with lots of clothes and even got her very own hair dryer, and very subtle make up. After all she will be in the 6th grade!

1 month old...

Michael is now officially 1 month old!! He now weighs around 10lbs now! Our lives have changed so much. We are all adjusting to having a new baby in the house. Kara is doing very well. She still loves her "Ichael"! However she is still adjusting to the idea of having to share mommy and daddy. It is getting better every day. We had our first family pictures taken and I will post them as soon as I get them back. For now I leave you with some cute pictures of Michael and Kara. Enjoy!!

Kara had a blast running around at my mom's house. She played in the sprinkler, went for a swing on the swingset with Trevor, and had fun picking up some rocks! Of course Michael was there too, he slept most of the time...perfect weather for napping outside!!

Monterey Bay Aquarium

Wayne's mom flew in from Montana to visit us, she hasn't been here since Kara was a week old, so we decided to take a famiy trip to the Aquarium. Kara has never been and we knew she would enjoy seeing all the fish, aka..Nemos and Dory's! We had a blast watching Kara! I think Michael had a great time too, even though he wasn't aware of it.

2 weeks......

Michael is now 2 weeks old and is changing every day. I realized that I had forgotten how much they change during the first weeks and months. We are all so very much in love with him, especially his big sister Kara. She insisted that she lay under his floor gym with him.

This is my favorite picture of them so far....well actually I have many favorites, but this is at the top of the list!!!


All ready for his first baseball game! We went and watched his cousin Trevor's game. I love this outfit, Michael is my little "baseball head" and "baseball butt"! Thank you to Auntie Corinna and family for getting him this outfit!

Mother's Day...

We had a wonderful Mother's Day. The family all met at my house. We were at the park, but got attacked by the automatic sprinklers so we hung out at our house. I got spoiled this year with a new Kodak Digital Camera, a rose topiary plant, and a candle from Kara and Michael. Here are some pics to enjoy, the last 2 of Kara throwing a fit, she didn't really want to take a picture---she was very worn out at this time. 1 week old....

Well it's been 1 week since we welcomed Michael into the world. It has been a bit of an adjustment but we are all doing great! Kara has been a wonderful big sister. She always wants to hold him and give him lots of kisses. She is more than willing to give him his pacifier, even when he doesn't need or want it, and likes to help burp him. Our little "studmuffin" has arrived!!

Well we finally have our little Michael William...aka...."studmuffin", his nickname given by his Auntie Corinna. After 9 1/2 hours and 6 pushes Michael arrived at 5:35pm. He weighed 7lbs 12oz and was 20 3/4 in long. We are all home and doing fine!

A Cinco de Mayo baby!!

I had a Dr. appt today and was told that I am dialated to 2 cm and 50% effaced! Which was very exciting news, so as promised my Dr. is planning on inducing me on Saturday, which just happens to be Cinco de Mayo! I can't tell you how excited and anxious I am to finally know that by the end of the weekend I will have a beautiful baby boy! I am a little anxious about leaving my Kara Mae overnight. Yes, it's true, I've never been away from her over night. I know she will be perfectly fine, but I also know I am going to miss her bunches and bunches!!
